One of my favourite 2nd Anglo-Boer War memorials, the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders at Stirling Castle.

That monument is also one of my favorites. I just got home from studying at the University of Stirling for a semester, so I got to see it up close. The detail is amazing.

The statue is the work of Mr Hubert Paton of Edinburgh and was unveiled by the Duchess of Montrose 12th Jan 1907.
