24th Badge ID

Hi All, I recently picked this hat badge up for the 2nd Warwickshire (24th) can anyone tell me period it relates to.

I am no expert on military badges but I think this would have been in use around the time of the Zulu War (1871 to 1881 range?) Being all brass I am also guessing its an O/Rs Glengarry badge. One of our more knowledgeable members will no doubt give you better advice than I but it looks good to me if all original!

Yes it is an ORs glengarry badge from around 1871-1881. The Officers version was in gilt and white metal. The plain brass ORs pattern is probably the most reproduced of all the glengarry badges.
