I am currently researching the career of maj gen Sir george Younghusband and append a brief detail of his employment. If anyone has information on souces of underlined employment i would appreciate it?

Commissioned into Leicestershire Regt.
Transferred to Bengal Staff Corps and posted to Corps of Guides.
Took part in 2nd Afghan War1878-80 – attack and capture Ali Masjid
With the second Expedition to the Bazaar Valley and engagement at Fattehabad1886.
Burmah War 1886-87
Chitral Relief Force 1895
Spanish American War , Campaign in the Philippines 1898

S. African War 1899-1902
Mohmand Expedition
WW1 with eventual Command of a Division

Younghusband was a fairly prolific writer so you should be able to track down first person accounts for most if not all of these events.

There are a number of his books available to read online on the Internet Archive (Archive.org)

There are also many of his books in the catalogue of the British Library in addition to records in the India Office Records of the
British Library, Asia, Pacific and Africa Collections. The latter may be searched through
