Napoleonic Wars Forum

I have tried to register on the Napoleonic Wars forum but am consistently rejected - One of my fields was incorrect. Can you advise what is going wrong. Please let me in :D

Hi Stuart

Which field does it say is incorrect? I'm sure we can sort it out for you :)

Hi Mark,

it simply says "One of the fields is incorrect" and doesn't specify which. I had a member of NWF try to register for me but he got the exact same results so it is not the IP address. I attempted to register with the same details as I use on VWF.

BTW: I am not getting an email notifications of replies to my posts.

Regards,

Stuart

Mark,

I have gone through my recent posts and have manually subscribed to those topics for which I was not getting email notifications. My much earlier topics still gave me the notifications.

Is it therefore true that I need, when making an initial post or starting a topic, to manually select "subscribe?"

Thanks,

Stuart
PS. I probably should have started a new topic on this but that seemed a bit wasteful.

Hi Stuart

Can you PM me your preferred username, email address, location and date of birth please? I will try and set you up with an account over on the NWF.

You should be able to subscribe to a thread at any point and reveive notifcations. It appears to be working for me - is anyone else having problems with this?

Hi Mark,

my old topics still gave me notifications but having started to post again I was bemused to receive none. Having checked each recent topic I had to manually specify topic notification. Is it true that I must select this option whenever I post on a new, for me, topic?

Not sure to be honest, I just registered your account in the normal way and all worked ok. Just one of those odd glitches you get I guess. As long as we get there in the end its all good :)
