2011 Eastbourne Redoubt display 25 & 26 June

We will be displaying at Eastbourne Redoubt this weekend as part of the Armed Forces Weekend (25th/26th June)

I hope its a good weekend for you. I like the theory and practice behind the group you're portraying, we've tried a similar formula with our own unit and it works well. Everyone enjoys themselves and no family or friend is excluded i they don't want to be. It all tells a story we hope.

Post some photos, I'm sure there'd be more than a few interested.

Hi Robert,

I have looked at your website as well, you have some excellent photographs yourselves and your portrayal of the Queensland Scottish is fantastic. An inspiration!

I find it helps to have civillians along with the display as whilst the soldiers appeal to all of the men and boys, there's nothing quite like an 1880's bustle dress to secure the interest of the wives and daughters as well!

I'm really looking forward to Eastbourne, it should be great fun. I just hope the rain holds off for us! I will definately get photos up once we return. In the meantime, here are some from our last event for the weekend just gone;

Thankyou, I apprecate the sentiments....We're suffering like probably everyone else from lack of numbers, though the winter months here are our 'show season' for want of a better term so I'm envious.
