This should be a very interesting exhibition at the Tate Modern, London, contrasting John Burke's photographs from the Second Afghan War with photographs taken last year by award-winning photographer Simon Norfolk.

Thanks, Keith, that does look interesting. I'll try and make a visit! Similar to an Afghan War exhibition the National Army Museum put on in 2006/07 showing many of Burke's photos juxtaposed with modern ones.
