Armel/Armil/Armile COTTRILL, 44th Essex Taku Forts 1860

Postby glen » 29 Mar 2010 12:13

Hi All,
Trying to find any information on a ancestor of mine, a Armel Cottrill who was listed as mortally wounded at the battle of Taku Forts. Thats all I know about him, would his family have received a medal? Is there any databases I can access to get any information. He may be listed as Armil, Armile or Armel Cottrill. I am in Australia.

Thanks very much
