Hi there, firstly i want to say great forum guys! its a great help on researching the medals i have as i am really struggeling!

I was wondering if any one could tell me if a CORP W TAYLOR 92nd Gord High's served in this war No 2143. I am half certain that the medal has been renamed but if it has its been very well done. The medal is 100% genuin and it has the bars, CHARASIA and KABUL which i no the 92nd gordan high's were entitled to but i am unsure wether he survived the war or was KIA as i no the 92nd were entitled to most of the medal bars and the star if guy was even there! Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Nick

Hi Nick,

WO 100/53 shows 2143 W Taylor as entitled to Charasia and Kabul medal clasps He is shown as Service Corps during the campaign, but does appear as wounded or KIA.

Hope this helps in your quest
