Hello,

I am a collector of photographs, documents and ephemera relating to the British Army of the 19th and early 20th centuries. My main interest is in the Great War but I have a fair few items in my collection dating from 1842 to the Anglo Boer war. Some of these photographs relate to the Indian Mutiny and the Crimean War, others to campaigns in India, Egypt and China up to 1900.
In due course I will be posting many of these images along with the associated research that I have uncovered and look forward to your thoughts and comments and to increasing my knowledge of Victorian campaigns.

If this forum proves to be only half as interesting as the Great War Forum has been over the years that I have been on it, I am sure that it will turn out to be an interesting and educational experience.

Thank you for allowing me to join.

Simon
