Here are some African items that form my avatar. I may change my Avatar but the theme will be the same. This is a poor photo and the tip of the huge Sudanese spear from the Kordofan region has been cropped.. The blade is 16 1/4 inches (41 1/4 Cm.) long not including socket. It is the largest leaf shaped blade in Africa if you take into account it's width. The shield is a Somali arm shield. Actually a buckler. It is 11 1/4 (28 1/2 Cm.) across. It was worn on the bicep and slids down to the hand for combat.
The spear to the left of the Sudanese spear is a Tuareg throwing spear. The three spears to the right are Congolese. I own these items.

Yes we are going to include the showcases in the active topics list but it involves changing some properties for each individiual showcase sub-forum so bear with me as it isn't a five minute job. The showcases will still remain invisible to guests and only registered members will be able to view them.

Hi All

Just a reminder that you can now add images bigger than the 640x640 and 256kb originally set for the forum. Pixel wise images can be any size you want since the new image resizer modification will allow this and the file size is now set to 1024kb (1mb).
