I'm restoring an original Garrison Artillery jacket, the austrian knots are missing - does anyone know of a source for the square yellow cord used? Any help much appreciated. Adrian.

Hello Adrian, hows things?
Having just attempted a similar exercise looking for Highland Volunteer Officers lace, the problem you'll face is the minimum quantity you'll be required to order or price. I'm sure you've found this by now I'd imagine. I found all sorts of every sort of military lace (except highland lace) and prices to match though who wants 100 metres when 1 metre is all thats needed.
I did find a few haberdashery manufacturers & suppliers around Dandenong that would custom make orders to samples, might be worth considering.
Certainly a market for a supplier to sell in smaller quantities to the re-enactment or restoration community.
All the best,
Robert
