88the Welsh Imperial Yeomanry photographs and medals

Postby Chebba » 20 Sep 2017 01:14

My Great Grandfather was Sgt Francis (Frank) Morris, 30704, of the 88th Welsh Imperial Yeomanry serving in SA from April 1901-July/August 1902. I have some 'irons in fires' elsewhere, in my quest for photographs of him, his unit etc, but nothing has come of those so far. So, might anyone in this forum have any photographs of the 88th, please? Photo's of the 88th, 89th, and the other units in the 9th Battalion of the MIY, are sadly lacking on t'internet.

If anyone has an information on G G/f's medal, with 1901, 1902, Cape Colony and Transvaal clasps, I'd appreciate knowing. Ditto his Tribute medal.

Thank you.
